Details |
When I update through "About Me", Firefox downloads the complete update and applies it.
However the FirefoxNightly.app folder ends up with an odd structure, with a Contents directory containing the new version of Firefox located inside the original Contents directory.
When I restart Firefox, it behaves as if it was never updated.

I cannot reproduce on OSX 10.5. I start with this build:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2012/04/2012-04-09-03-12-40-mozilla-central/firefox-14.0a1.en-US.mac.dmg
and apply this update:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2012/04/2012-04-11-03-07-16-mozilla-central/firefox-14.0a1.en-US.mac.complete.mar
and end up with a normal (updated) nightly.
