Steps to reproduce:

I receive the message:

Update Available
A security and stability update for Firefox is available.
Firefox 11.0
It is strongly recommended that you apply this update for Firefox as soon as possible.


Actual results:

When I click Update Firefox, it says:
Downloading Firefox

Connecting to the update server...

And just hangs there. I have let this run for hours with nothing.


Expected results:

Download the latest update, I assume from he message.

Download the full installer manually if the developer doesn't request additional information from you in a few days.

Please attach (using the 'Add an attachment' link above) the active-update.xml file which can be located with a default release install as follows:

Open the Applications folder
control click Firefox. Select Show Package Contents
Open Contents
Open MacOS

Attach the active-update.xml located in this directory
