Steps to reproduce:

I enabled the "Unread message icon" Labs feature in Gmail settings


Actual results:

It doesn't work - I still see the usual favicon without any additions


Expected results:

The favicon should show an unread inbox count in its bottom-right corner.

I have tested and it seems to be working with the IceWeasel UA.
