Something messed up MapsGL at http://g.co/maps/ct9uw or any map on http://maps.google.com/ with this configuration:

The same issue appears in Chromium so I filed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/981883

It's probably neither our bug, nor MapsGL's, but a bug in the nouveau driver. Please take this to https://bugs.freedesktop.org/ where Nouveau developers work.

I've "reported" it to Google via their "MapsGL feedback survey"[1], would try freedesktop.org later this week FWIW.
