Device: Samsung Galaxy S (Captivate)
OS: Android 2.2

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Fennec
2. Go to AMO
3. Tap Highest Rated link
4. Tap on Newest
*5. It might be needed to repeat steps 3&4

Expected result:
No layout issues should occur while str are performed.

Actual result:
Text might become invisible after step 2 or after step 5 as you can see in the attached screenshot.

I also see this on a number of sites during rotation (on the Nexus One it doesn't kill Gecko).

joe, did that back out happen before or after the aurora uplift? Can you mark the "target milestone" on this bug accordingly?

It seems to be fixed on Nightly and Aurora, there aren't any layout issues for AMO. Closing bug as verified fixed on:

Firefox 15.0a1 (2012-05-29)
Firefox 14.0a2 (2012-05-29)

Device: Galaxy Nexus
OS: Android 4.0.2
