Classic skin only...0404 build Steps: Launch composer Click on any of the B, I U buttons on the formatting toolbar Now, type in the composer window Observe that the button does not appear depressed while the style gets applied

Is this all platforms or just Mac ?
I am able to reproduce this problem on Mac OSX using branch build 20011009. But this works for me on 20011010 trunk and branch builds using Win 2k.

I see this on Mac OS 8.6 and OS X on the 20011009 build.

Sujay, I just saw on today's branch build (2001-10-12-03-0.9.4) for Mac OS 9.2, windows 98, and Linux redhat 6.2. It happens in both modern and classic themes, so it's not a theme issue, it's a composer bug. hummm. it works fine on the branch build: 2001-10-10-03-0.9.4) though. Weird? Steps to reproduce: 1. Launch the browser (modern or classic) 2. Open composer. 3. Click on any of the B, I, U buttons on the formatting toolbar 4, type in the composer window. Notice that letters are not "bold, italic, and underlined".
this is a themes bug...happen on classic mode only. Patty also confirmed this in my cube.

Very strange - pmac sees this today on all platforms in today's build - both skins. Whereas I dont see it on the same builds. on mac . Something strange is going on here. I'm thinking it's not a specific skin bug.
This seems to be the same as bug 101982, but that is fixed in today's build, at least on Windows with both Modern and Classic themes.
try and delete the XUL.mfl file in that profile and restart mozilla and check it, and try a new clean profile and a new Installer directory too.. see if you get it still.
works for me on todays builds - mac modern and classic.

Not sure what that branch is but it's old, and looking at the builds I have it's working for me. Not sure why this bug keeps getting reopened - it's fixed on current builds as far as I can tell. I didnt know we did bug reports in bugzilla for aoltw branches. If this is still an issue I'd recommend moving it to bugscape.
