See bug 724786, in particular bug 724786 comment 22. There is a workaround that Patrick created for a bug that causes single-pixel corruption.

The real fix, as I understand it, is bug 681192; this bug simply tracks the single-pixel corruption.
Let's make an official call on this bug.

Unassigned right now because bug 681192 is the solution we are working on right now.  If that pans out, this will probably get dupe'd.
This is fixed by roc's 20-patch set in bug 681192; we've decided that we're going to hold off on fixing this bug until 15.
