facebook.com does not redirect Fennec to m.facebook.com. It does do this for the Android stock browser. This means that when a user enters facebook.com in Fennec they get the desktop site. They specifically need to know the m.facebook.com URL in order to get the mobile site.

This is a follow-up to bug 723936.

I'm confused by this filing. 

I just tested this a half hour ago in bug bug 723936. Nightly (05/02), I type in Facebook.com, and I get sent to m.facebook.com; I see a redirect with a reference source as the input URL:

Confirmed. The redirect works on Nightly 15.0a1 2012-05-02. However I am not redirected (get the desktop site) on Aurora 14.0a2 2012-05-02.

I can confirm that facebook.com is redirecting to m.facebook.com on Aurora 14.0a2

Must have been something in my cache. I cleared all data from Aurora and am getting the expected behaviour. Sorry for the churn.
