Details

When using back and forward to go between pages in the history, Mozilla has to
re-resolve the name of the server. My ISP's DNS server is currently slow, so
this can equate to a delay of several seconds in going back and forward. This
occurs even when Mozilla does not actually reload the page.

Since it's not reloading the page, there should be no need to do a DNS lookup to
retrieve a page from the cache.
qa to me.

I'll look into this.

Can you provide a couple example URL's and steps?
I haven't been able to reproduce this on recent builds, actually. Perhaps it's
fixed.
Reporter: Maybe it´s fixed but I think it´s a dupe of bug 30917.

Whether or not we lookup, DNS cache will make this go away.

Also, I don't think any of these back+forward bugs actually logged suprious DNS
requests. The status bar messages were not accurate when they said "resolving"
(see bug 72805).
