Some accounts list an irc nickname and others do not. Looking at the edit profile feature on my test accounts (both existing and newly created) I do not see a form field in the profile edit page to add an irc nickname.

Expected:
I believe we haven't settled on a UX design for including irc nicknames on profiles yet - please fact check this.

Actual:
Some profiles list an irc nickname when viewed from the search results while others do not. There also appears to be no way to add or edit an irc nick on profiles where it is not listed.

The registration form/profile edit screen had editable fields for the IRC Name before the UX re-design. Anyone that filled them in during that time have the values in the DB and the profile form just now is really just loading those values.

This is addressed in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=750316

The profile edit has the IRC name field added.
The IRC name value is auto populated during the registration flow with the user's username.
The username is no longer shown on their profile and only the IRC name is shown.

With the current design IRCname field is displayed only when it's filled in by the user and it's not related to username.
