They probably have bad hardware if they are crashing so much in random GC and CC code.
I've personally crashed EarlyBird at least twice with this stack trace in the last week, and there are many more on https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/list?product=Thunderbird&signature=ChildFinder%3A%3ANoteXPCOMChild%28nsISupports*%29#tab-sigsummary
I looked at a handful of crashes, and they are all in XPCWrappedNatives. I'm not sure what could be going wrong.
Very few users crash more than once with this signature. And very few have multiple crash signatures
