Web page or screen you were on when you saw the issue:
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/good-old-fashioned-pancakes/
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to website with Fennec Aurora
What you expected:
The top ingredient should be flour, but it does not appear. It was there for a second as the page was loading and then disappeared. Most pancakes require some form of flour :)

Thread summary and issue deliver!
This WFM on Nightly (05/08); text-size default at: Medium in Settings. Checking Aurora (05/08), I also don't see this.
Which phone, text-size and Aurora build are you running? If anything, it sounds like a font-inflation issue, but I can't reproduce.

Looks like this bug has been occurring for a while.
the website uses iframes, the ingredients doesn't look like it has anything special other than being placed in a div.
It's not because of just the div. Possibly due to the position in iframes as well? still trying to break it down.
Adding mw22 for breakdown of page.

Strange... if you don't tap to play the plugin, flour remains visible.

qawanted should not have been removed. QA should break down the page.

I see it on initial render, then it disappears when the page fully loads.
For the record, I also see odd disappearing paragraphs and images on the article pages of phoronix.com, under the same conditions (appear while loading, disappear once loading progresses).
Disabling font inflation fixes both sites for me.
Flour shows up fine on today's nightly. Theory is that it might have been fixed by bug 753742

This seems unlikely to me. All that patch did was force layer building on scroll frames with a display-port.
Yup, which fixed a bunch of issues with overflow:hidden elements on mobile. The element here has overflow:hidden set, as do some ancestor elements..

right, but for the patch to have made a difference, that overflow:hidden needed to occur on the root document node (the one we set the displayport on) - if it does, then fair enough :)

It would be nice to know what fixed it, though. Any chance we might be able to get a bisect to see what caused this to appear again?

I'm unable to reproduce on Nightly (05/29, Galaxy Nexus 4.0.4) on default 'minTwips' settings @ 120 ("Medium") all content pertaining to the recipe is shown in my viewport.

What device do you see it on?

Galaxy Nexus, today's nightly.

I can't recreate on my galaxy nexus running today's nightly (same font inflation minTwips as Aaron).
This seems likely to be a case where font inflation is just changing the sizes of things such that we trigger some other cause, rather than the actual cause. It would be useful to have a more reliable testcase here.
In order to reproduce, you have to tap on the flash ad on the right and then zoom in.
STR:
1. go to http://allrecipes.com/recipe/good-old-fashioned-pancakes/
2. tap on the plugin on the right
3. pinch zoom in.
Expected: all text remains on page
Actual: flour disappears
Plugins tap to play
text size medium
Trying to reduce the test case, I'm not so sure it's font inflation that's causing this issue any more. I copied the html over to a people account in it's entire page and the issue is not occurring. I verified that I can still reproduce the issue.
I think it may have something to do with the js script that's being used towards the bottom of the html page? Not sure at this moment in time without looking closely at the html code.

Reduced the webpage, there's still some more that can be reduced.
Weird part was that it replicated when I used my Mac as the hosting webpage. Using the bugzilla... it doesn't seem to replicate the issue? Not sure what's going on. Need to look at the scripts in the webpage closer I suppose.
