When I click on the Home button (when the home page isn't displayed), the home page isn't fetched. At the bottom, it is written "Resolving host ..." then "Document: Done (xxx secs)" and that's all. I need to click a second time: it is written "Resolving host ...", then "Transferring ...", then "Document: Done (xxx secs)" and the home page is displayed.
Vincent, could you please tell us what URL you use as your home page? It would also be helpful if you try to manually go to this page, and see if you need to reload it in order for it to display. And please, always include the build id when reporting bugs.
Build ID: 2001040910 URL: http://www.vinc17.org/ The problem is in fact related to the URL. It also occurs with the Go -> Home menu and with "Open Web Location". No problem with other URLs.
In fact, the problem isn't related to the URL, but to the language preferences. I have: French [fr] English [en] If I put English in the first position, I have no problem.
The bug has now completely disappeared. It could be due to something temporary wrong in my preferences (but Mozilla didn't complain about them). I couldn't reproduce the problem by running a previous version of Mozilla and running 2001040910 again.
wfm per reporter. If you find a way to reproduce this, please reopen the bug.
