Bad: the modular symbol is rendered as a tiny circle
Good: the symbol should be rendered as three parallel lines
Other errors are: ... rendered as 1/4, a' rendered as a<cent symbol>,
and a couple others.  Compare to IE 5.5 rendering.

IE's rendering is buggy.  The page should be using numeric entities for special
symbols...
