Web page or screen you were on when you saw the issue: Official Mozilla Blog (blog.mozilla.org) Steps to reproduce: 1. blog.mozilla.org 2. 3. What you expected: I expected the page to do either of two things: 1. automatically scale to show the entire width of the page 2. auto scale to show only the content (and not the side categories) as it is I see only a small section of the page. Crash report ID (if applicable):
The page has a meta-viewport tag with width=device-width.

We should probably fix it.
Component: Evangelism → blog.mozilla.org
OS: Mac OS X → Android
Product: Fennec Native → Websites
QA Contact: evangelism → blog-mozilla-org
Hardware: x86 → ARM
This can be fixed just by removing the <meta name="viewport"> element from the blog.mozilla.org pages.

Summary: Mozilla Blog layout → Optimize layout/viewport on Mozilla Blog for mobile devices
This is an old bug so may have been referring to an older theme or maybe a rendering bug in an older mobile browser, I'm not sure which. The current blog theme, although it still has a <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1"> tag, uses responsive CSS to fit the layout to the viewport width in all the browsers I've been able to test with.
