I can work around it by clicking on "download".
This used to happen since the beginning of the new PDF viewer but thought it would get fixed in the next few iterations.

Can you attach a PDF file with the same error that does not contain any personal and sensitive information (legal notices or price list for instance)?

I don't how I feel about posting my personal credit card statement into a bug.
How can I modify a PDF to remove personal data? I don't know how to do that.

I think we have enough information to fix this bug without the PDF. We'll ping you to test it though once we address the issue.

This should be fixed in the current nightly. Can you verify and close the issue?

Well, instead of trying to show the pdf with Firefox's built-in PDF viewer it decides to download it automatically.
I can say that I don't have the problem but we aren't using the Firefox pdf built-in option.

We've changed how pdfs are downloaded, can you retry with the current nightly? Please make sure the option "Preview in Nightly" is chosen for Portable Document Format in Preferences->Applications.
