User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.8; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0 Build ID: 20120508180640 Steps to reproduce: Visited several videos on Youtube after activating the HTML5 feature on OSX 10.8. All videos seem to have the problem, but this one does for sure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ligFZgH40WI&feature=related Actual results: Visual glitches, mostly red and green splotches that contain various ghost images from the video or video player. Expected results: Video should have played.

The glitches don't occur in Safari. I'm using OSX 10.8DP3, and the problems seem to disappear if I restart in safe mode, even though I don't have an addons installed.

Disable the hardware acceleration in preferences/advanced/general and restart Firefox. (The safemode disables addons,JS jit and hwa)

For me playing youtube HD videos does not cause artifacts on video but on other tabs, frequently freezes of firefox, rarely entire desktop, especially while scrolling. When I play a HD move and then I switch to other tabs pages do not render correctly. There are most of the letters missing. The letters are invisible even if I mark them with mouse or scroll entire page from bottom to top. After closing youtube tab and switching back to the mis-rendered tab I still can't see missing letters. Reloading (f5) in that tab does not help. I'm using archlinux and I update daily. I'm using "sna" acceleration method, same thing happens when I use "glamor". X server does not start when I try to use "uxa". Adding "TearFree" does not help either. <- I found these options looking for problems with intel driver. Chromium works fine with same videos and pages.

I think what you're describing is a different issue. Can you please file a new bug report?

This is an old Audio/Video bug. Tss or Will, are you still able to reproduce this?
