With securable modules in place for tests on the 1.5 branch we were able to prove that those are working fine. None of our tests use the old module style anymore. So at some point it can be removed from the code.

Keep in mind that this only applies to the tests and not the extension itself.
Mozmill will reach its end of life soon. We are currently working on getting
all the tests for Firefox ported to Marionette. For status updates please see
bug 1080766.
