delete key does not work on linux in mail list window

I go to list of mails in my inbos, select one message and press <del> key.
Nothing happened.
This worked in some previous mozilla builds, but not in the current. Using
contect menu and selecting delete will work and delete the mail, but pressing
<del> key won't do.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. open mail window
2. choose inbox
3. pick one of your mails and press <delete>
Actual Results: nothing happened
Expected Results: the mail should be deleted (or moved to recycle bin, actually)

Delete key worksforme too on linux-redhat 6.2, GNU 4.5.42. Download a later
build and try again. Also verified delete works from context menu,
filemenu, and tool bar. marking this worksforme.
