Currently, visiting Google.com on a tablet sends us a tablet-optimized site [1] as of May 2012 (yay. Don't. Touch. Anything.) -- but searches done through the AwesomeBar using the search plugin send us to their basic HTML mobile site [2]

Is this something we can tweak and adjust in our search-plugin (google.xml) ?

Looks like you can ditch the /m/ and let Google decide what's best on their own and this works http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/mobile/locales/en-US/searchplugins/google.xml#18
