Prior to mozilla-inbound r95066 it was possible to select URL & middle-click on favicon in order to go to URL.
Since r95066 middle click does nothing.
So function is broken by

It actually works fine for already opened tab (with URL), but not in New Tab/about:blank.
OK, that makes more sense now. It's because about:newtab and about:blank have pageproxystate=invalid.

…and also it doesn't work if you've
1. Open URL
2. Change URL text in location bar without going to another page
3. Middle-click on favicon
Still happens on latest mozilla-inbound.
Still reproducible on latest nightly.
what's the use-case for this functionality that is not covered by middle clicking the go/reload button?
I have no go/reload button on toolbar, for example.
