Enable Azure canvas, change the Azure backend to Cairo (needs a patch), then try to print the test case, and you should get a pretty hard crash with a Fatal IO error 0 on X server. It is not width or height dependent, but kicks in when the canvas gets larger than about 1/4 million pixels.

I just tried this on nightly and I'm not seeing any crash. The page is blank though!
