For example when we write translate.google and press Crtl + Enter Url would not be www.translate.google.com ! maybe this action is depend on number of Dot points in the Url and so would not produce proper Url !

WFM on: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:15.0) Gecko/15.0 Firefox/15.0a1 (20120603030523) Ahmad, can you please give more details about how you reproduced the issue? We need to know the Firefox version and if you ever loaded translate.google.com in the browser before trying the autofill option.

As you know when we write a word in navigation bar and press Crtl + Enter the Browser automatically encapsulate the word between "www." & ".com" to produce the proper Url ! It's nice and clear til here . but when trying to produce a subdomain Url the issue will rise ! I'd record a video about it soon as possible ! best regards ;) !

Example : write "google" in navigation bar and press Crtl + Enter , it's ok and browser load www.google.com . now write "translate.google" ( Or any other .com subdomain ) and press Crtl + Enter the browser would not produce "www.translate.google.com" !

Thanks for the details, Ahmad. It seems that I can reproduce the issue too, the same way you did. Reproduced on: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:15.0) Gecko/15.0 Firefox/15.0a1 (20120603030523) Regression range: Last good nightly: 2011-08-20 First bad nightly: 2011-08-21 Pushlog: http://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/pushloghtml?fromchange=6009974c1e1c&tochange=6dc468c41136 STR: 1. Launch Firefox. 2. Enter "translate.google" in the URL bar ("maps.google", or anything with a subdomain). 3. Press Ctrl+Enter. Actual Results: The URL becomes "www.translate.google" instead of "www.translate.google.com". As specified by Ahmad, the issue doesn't reproduce if the entered text has no dots in it.
