User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0 Build ID: 20120601045813 Steps to reproduce: After updating to TB 13 the updater downloaded also a new version of Lightning: 1.5. Actual results: To my surprise, the complete Lightning menus, screens, settings, today pane, etc. are now displayed in English. Expected results: I expected lightning to be in Dutch, as my TB version is Dutch also.

Lightning 1.5 contains only the following localizations: cs, de, en-GB, en-US, es-AR, es-ES, et, fr, ja, ko, nb-NO, pl, sk, sl, sq, zh-TW. I assume the Dutch localization team did not finish in time for Lightning 1.5 and therefore are not included in this release.

The reason isn’t only a matter of signing off or finishing in time - there were several more that are related to the current process, causing many locales to miss the 1.5 release, and their localizers naturally aren’t pleased. To be precise, only 16 out of at least 39 locales have been included this time, even though the others were fully localized long ago. As noted on the AMO Lightning page, the Calendar owner is doing his best to get a 1.5.1 release out the door soon, which is due around mid next week at most. Until then, users might be able to keep (or re-install) the 1.4 release, which is 100% identical apart from some code fixes - no l10n changes have taken place since 1.4. They might however need to install the Nigthly Tester add-on to get it installed (I haven’t tried it). If it doesn’t work, a little patience could be enough, would save the efforts of getting it running and probably minimize any chances of messing things up or not being able to update afterwards. As soon as 1.5.1. is available, the update automatically fixes the issue. People are also working on a way to avoid this happening in the future. Lightning 1.5.1 was released today for Thunderbird 13. Could you test if it works now?
