Details
The preferences in the prefs.js file currently include many references to paths inside the users profile directory. Unfortunately, these all use absolute paths to refer to the locations o fthese files. It would be VERY useful if these references were relative paths, instead. There are a number of references to this problem, scattered throughout Bugzilla: Bug 63851, Bug 63918, Bug 64832, Bug 12911, and probably countless others. This bug may be a duplicate of one or more of these, although nothing precisely matches it.

panacea.dat also has absolute paths. Fixing these would help share profiles between os's without breaking a sweat. Which would be nice.
