Bank of America on Fennec Native gets served a desktop site, not the mobile site seen on Webkit. UA sniffing is evident here.

Thanks Jason. I missed the US rank when I looked up the site.

As of August 20th, I get a mobile site served to Nightly (08/20).

Tested on Motorola Droid 3 running Android 2.3.4 and Samsung Note running Android 4.0.4 using Nightly 18.0a1 2012-08-28, Aurora 16.0a2 2012-08-27 and Firefox Mobile 15 RC build. On all Firefox versions going to bankofamerica.com results in the Desktop version being displayed. The stock Android Browser still displays the mobile version

I can confirm that as of Aug 28, 2012, I also get the desktop version of the site served to Fennec. I was previously getting a mobile version served. This site has regressed.

I suggest dup'ing this to bug 784463 and follow up the twisted story of BoA sniffing over there. The regression mentioned above has been fixed - although we're now getting a very basic mobile site. I'm guessing the history went like this:
- BoA gets complaints that Fx on Android doesn't get mobile site (or just accidentally enables it)
- BoA's mobile site depends too much on -webkit- stuff, doesn't render or work correctly
- BoA switches back to serving desktop content
- Finally, decide to serve the lo-fi mobile site
