Firstly, moving the close tabs menu X to the right hand side of each tab is very helpful.

However, the way the new tabs appear (i.e. taking up the top 75% of the page with the bottom 25% being taken up by the current page) is a little clunky.

I'm probably missing the obvious but I find it unnecessarily complex and adds graphics strain on low-end devices without much benefit.

The biggest issue I have is that now only three tabs are visible vs. the old menu where five tabs where visible at any time. This just adds to unnecessary scrolling as you try and find the tab you're looking for. Real estate is at a premium already on mobile.

As I said, I'm probably missing something but I prefer the old style (but with the close button on the right).

After a couple of days use I can confirm it's also significantly slower in drawing the drop down menu and a little bit messy.

At the moment I'm back to the current beta (14.0) as the drop down menu there is instant.
