The tabs menu always shows the tabs in landscape mode even when the device is rotated to portrait mode.  This seems counter-intuitive.

Perhaps this is the same issue as bug 762723.

Or at least the solution should be the same.  The tab preview size should be based on a percentage of the screen size in the same aspect ratio.
