I think that firefox.mozilla.org should redirect to mozilla.org/firefox for several reasons.

Should we also redirect release.mozilla.org to the website of the final version of Firefox?
We'll consider this if the mozilla.org website team thinks it's appropriate.

firefox.mozilla.org seems okay to me (pending webdev's choice of ideal redirect URL).

release.mozilla.org I'm not in favor of. The reason is that there's already a "releases.mozilla.org" (plural) which is totally different. I think having the singular and plural form of the name refer to different things will cause confusion.
