Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to craigslist.org.
2. Open an add.
3. Hit back to return to the category.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 a few times.

Expected results:
The page is rendered correctly.

Actual results:
Sometimes there is a white rectangle is displayed over the bottom left part of the page. Scroll, zoom or page reload fixes the issue - please see the attached screenshot.

The issue is not 100% reproducible and is quite hard to reproduce. Also I have not been able to reproduce the issue on Samsung Galaxy S2 (Android 2.3.4) or HTC Desire Z (Android 2.3.3)

No luck reproducing on the Galaxy Nexus (4.0.4) w/ Nightly (06/12).

I have been seeing this as well.  It is not rendering a white rectangle, but rendering a distorted background and not rendering anything above it.  If the background is white like in this case, the rectangle is plain white.)  I find that it occurs most often when the page is loaded from the cache. (Hitting the back button while the page is almost finished loading tends to trigger it more often.)  It also seems to happen mostly in spurts, it will happen 5+ times in a few minutes time, then it doesn't happen for another week.

It seems to happen on any page, but I can definitely reproduce it on http://dslreports.com

It might be something specific to Android 2.2.

Is this still happening? I wonder if the patches from bug 800041 and/or related bugs have fixed this problem.

This seems to be fixed in the 2012-11-06 nightly.  I was unable to reproduce it on any of the pages that I could reliably trigger it on.
