Text fields in dialog boxes are not automatically focused on first try of a browsing secession. I observed this with the "Find" on page and entering password for for the Mail app. Steps to Reproduce in "Find": 1. Launch a Mozilla 2. Go to Search > Find in This Page, or hotkey Ctrl-F (in Windows). Expected Result: The text field in the Find dialog should be focused without additional user intervention. Actual Result: The text field in the Find dialog is not focused. System Tested: Build 2001041804 Windows 98 SE
this is a dup (can't find it right now) each dialog has to focus its own textfield manually I think there is also a bug asking to always focus the first textfield
According to Fabian, this is a dup, but dunno what the bug number is, and maybe I'm just not using the right search words but I can't find it either. Since the bug has been fixed as of 2001042108, I'm just going to mark this as WORKSFORME just to get it out of the way.
