I've seen this problem mostly on FTP listings, altough I seem to remember seeing
it appear on local directory listings at times. Quite easy to spot, the FTP file
descriptions - especially for unknown filetypes - seem to be going a little here
and there...

I have fixed a minor problem with ftp and check it in. The main problem here is
text inside <PRE> (preformatted tags) tags is not displaying properly. I have
created another bug on that.

Verified as fixed.  FTP listings have many problems which are all being detailed
out in other bugs and verified there.
