Right now, customized dialog sizes seem to save between uses during a session. I'm not sure, but I don't think they're saved across sessions. Would be awesome if their positions and sizes saved across sessions. This would be a nice customization tweak users could make.
Clearly very low priority.

These dialog sizes should always be the same ; can you provide an example of one that changes?

The trick is you can resize and move these dialogs; once you've done that, it would be nice if that change were remembered.
