In IE10 when in Metro mode, a web page can request that the user display the site on Desktop instead of Metro via a prompt. This bug is to provide similar functionality in Firefox.

The request is initiated in one of 2 ways on IE10:
Via an HTTP header:
X-UA-Compatible: requiresActiveX=true
Via a META tag:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="requiresActiveX=true" />

ActiveX has nothing to do with us but providing the same option would be beneficial.

This needs a story, needs to be converted to a story, or I think should be moved to v2 triage. Maybe there was a discussion about it recently given the somewhat recent activity.
