Hit this while trying to reproduce another crash (Bug 768002).

Reproducible: always
Steps to reproduce
1. Navigate to a site that tests the java applet:
http://www.w3.org/People/mimasa/test/object/java/
2. Select any of the tests and click very fast on the Back/Forward buttons several times (until Firefox crashes).

Expected results:
Page loading should move back and forward through history as expected.

Actual result:
Firefox crashes.

Note: This crash seems to be specific to Windows OSs, most crashes seem to occur in Firefox 13.0.1, but present since Firefox 9.0.1.

Steps: 
1. Go to Google and search for "silverlight games"
2. Click on the first link in the list (Play free Silverlight games on Mashooo - http://www.google.ro/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CCIQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mashooo.com%2F&ei=TppQUJDUDM7PsgalooCIDA&usg=AFQjCNHRW9TRqwQ9yYTxEvSdxbqVH1QjPw)
3. After page loading finishes, press browser back button several times

Result: Firefox crashes

Following the reporter's steps I am able to confirm that the issues doesn't happen anymore on Windows 10 on any of the current versions of Firefox Nightly 87.0a1 (2021-02-23), beta 86.0 and release 85.0.2. No crashes occur under the given test case.
