769013 - Hotmail redirects to ESPN Go

We are seeing a spike this week on SUMO from users reporting the after logging in to Hotmail they are redirected to ESPN Go after about 3-5 seconds. The reports indicate that this does not happen on IE or Safari. Initially I thought it could be a marketing campaign, but the the fact that it doesn't happen on other browsers seems strange. One user was able to prevent the redirect by adding the ESPN site to the blocklist.

I just got an update on this issue. It looks like it was an issue on the M$ side. Here are some links that explain M$ has fixed the issue:
