Details

Android Sync's "auth.plain" token type is unversioned and requires continual invalidation to actually get all required account information.  We need a versioned token type that provides long-lived tokens to move toward multiple Fennec support.

This bug is intended for "overlapping Fennecs" as opposed to the "concurrent Fennecs" of Bug 772645.
Truth in advertising: I am not actively working on these tickets.

Changes in the Sync authenticator nullify this.  We now access the Account directly without using the auth token mechanism at all.  This will be an issue if/when we build a globally accessible Persona Android Account type.
