List Name: persona-notices List Admin: francois@mozilla.com, Short Description: Important notices related to the Persona identity service Long Description: This is a low-traffic announcement list for things that Persona implementers, administrators and developers need to know about. It will include: - security issues in popular Persona libraries and plugins - advance warnings about non-backward compatible API changes - notice of feature deprecations - changes to the URLs and/or IP addresses of the Persona services as well as any other important service announcements. Justification / Special Instructions: This announce list should be read-only with posts restricted to @mozilla.com addresses and approved by the list moderators. Once it exists, we will strongly recommend that all technical users of Persona subscribe to it.

Thanks. I have configured and tested the list and everything works fine. Two minor things that would be nice (but it's not a big deal if it's not possible or too hard): 1- could the HTML on the list info page be edited to remove this sentence: "To post a message to all the list members, send email to persona-notices@mozilla.org." 2- could the list archives be cleared (to get rid of my two test messages)

1. Can I ask why you want this line moved in particular? 2. I believe this has been removed correctly https://mail.mozilla.org/pipermail/persona-notices/
Thanks Michael. My reasoning for #1 is that it's an announce list and users joining it should not think that they can post to it. But now that I think of it, we (the Identity team) might forget what email we're supposed to use to mail the list, so we should probably keep it just in case :)
