770270 - [Tablet] Tab drawer stays open when new tab is opened

Description

1) Open Firefox on a tablet device.
2) Click the button to open the tab drawer.
3) Press the "+" button to create a new tab.
4) Type "google.com" into the URL bar and hit enter.

Expected: google.com shows up with the tab bar closed.
Result: google.com shows up with the tab bar remaining open.

This occurs with all websites I've tested and with subsequent tab additions.

Tested on Asus Transformer Prime TF201, Android 4.0.3, aurora and nightly.

This was an intentional change from bug 765805, and matches the behavior of XUL Fennec 10.

But since some users prefer not to have the tab bar stick around, we should consider ways of making it possible to add/close/switch tabs without opening the persistent tab bar, as with bug 690740 from XUL Fennec.  Ian?

Alternatively, if a new UI does not work out, I think this could be set as a preference as well.
