Currently, we don't grant any points for reviewing apps from "re-reviews" and "escalations" queue.

Amy is working with eviljeff to decide on what the appropriate points are.

I will update the bug once they have a decision.
We have decided to reward points for app re-reviews but not escalations. So, we'll go with +30 for re-reviews.

After looking over these points again, we also decided to make a few changes:

Search providers: change to +30 (currently +60)
Dictionary & Language Packs: change to +60 (currently +30)

I updated the point values in the spec and wiki:

Thanks!

Hi Rob, to answer your question, an initial nomination of an add-on should be treated as new until it is approved for the first time. After that, any re-submission of it is considered an update. That means an editor would get 120 pts for reviewing a new submission, and if he rejects it and it is re-submitted, he would get another 120 pts for reviewing it again. Once it is approved, and subsequent re-submission would count as an update (80 pts)

Staff should accumulate points as well--they just wouldn't qualify for incentives.

Thanks!
