From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux 2.4.0 i686; en-US; rv:0.8.1+) Gecko/20010422
BuildID: 2001042221

When you visit a site that displays a MJPG (Motion JPEG), such as
http://www.payneconsulting.com/webcam/, the image does not load. If I press
refresh repeatedly I will sometimes see a first image, but it is quickly
replaced with a blank space.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.payneconsulting.com/webcam/

Actual Results: The MJPG/Motion JPEG does not load. It loads in other browsers
correctly (Netscape 4.76/Linux).

Expected Results: Displayed the MJPG image stream.

I reported a bug related to MJPGs earlier, bug ID #69857, about a memory leak
with them, which was then fixed recently. At some point between the report and
the fix (sorry, I don't have anything near an exact or even approximate date)
MJPGs no longer loaded. I assumed this was part of the development process,
fixing the leak might require breaking the actual functionality for a little
while. However the bug has since been marked as resolved and the functionality
has not been restored on my setup.
I am seeing this on Windows build 2001041804, changing OS to all and status to
[imglib]

the "image" is reporting from the multipart/x-mixed-replace stream that it is
text/html?
or maybe i'm looking at the wrong thing.. the jpeg doesn't seem to want to
load.. bad jpeg or somesuch crap. i'll play with it.

I have problems with these too. my site is at
http://midnight.skinnykid.net/work1.html
The image loads, but if i click and drag on the page, the jpeg falls back on the
alt tag.

Windows Talkback build of 0.9.3 has related problem: Running WebVideo
(http://www-vs.informatik.uni-ulm.de/soft/wv) and accessing the stream using
Mozilla 0.9.3, everything works smoothly. Pressing the stop button (or hitting
escape, etc..) does not stop the image stream, however, and even when a
different page is loaded the server continues to show that the stream is being
downloaded by Mozilla. Returning to the camera page results in a blank space
where the image should be.

Testcase:
1 Install WebVideo on a machine with a webcam, such as the Sony Vaio Picturebook.
2 Access the JPEG stream using Mozilla 0.9.3.
3 Use the back button to return to a previous page.
4 WebVideo will show that the connection is still open and downloading.
Suggested fix: Have image close/destroy code check for open network connections
and close them.

Good luck!
