Followup to Bug 771099 to treat the pinch to zoom evangelism issue. Firefox Mobile Native 14 beta 12 build 1/ Nightly 16.0a1 2012-07-10 Device: HTC Desire (Android 2.2) Steps to reproduce: 1. Go to maps.google.com. 2. Pinch to zoom. Expected results: The user can use gestures to zoom. Actual results: Nothing happens. The only way to zoom is to use the +/- icons.

I agree that I would prefer to be able to pinch to zoom. However, this is a feature request for Google. This site appears to be (wrt zoom at least) functioning as expected.

Google DOES have this feature. They just aren't shipping it to us AFAIK. This is an evang bug.

Google does have this feature but not in their basic mobile version. Getting the touch optimized version is evangelism work. Duping to bug 742125 where we're tracking progress.
