When trying to subscribe to the Folder "Öffentlicher Ordner" (this starts with
Ö) on our Exchange-Server, the field
Folder: in the subscription-dialog
is set to "&ANY-ffentlicher Ordner" and subscription fails with the message "The
current command did not succeed. The mail server reponded: Das gew" (I assume
the message would go on: Das gewünschte... but is cut off at the position of the
&uuml)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to mail news
2.Set up a mail account on an Exchange Server
3.Try to subscribe to a folder containing an "Ö" (Ö) in its title

I have similar problem:
Mozilla Win32 2001111503 on WinnNT4 sp6 
Acessing an IMAP Linux server with some weird (but potentially useful)
configuration:
It has folders #ftp and #news (guess what is inside) but I can't read these,
subscribe to these nor unsubscribe that ones I am already subscribed to

To be more precise, the (un)subscribe fails silently, looking into such folder
causes Mozilla to complain that server said SELECT failed, no such folder
<folder name>

bug 129073 was resolved as fixed (incorrectly, should be worksforme)
can anyone still reproduce this bug?

reporter writes: on our imap server it creating/subscribing to folders with special characters works well - since we don't have an exchange installation anymore, i don't know if it is solved there as well
