Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:13.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/13.0.1
Build ID: 20120616215704
Steps to reproduce:
I went to https://nightly.mozilla.org/ (site loads quick and is nice) and selected the "64bit linux" build.
Press the link and download, wait.
Actual results:
After 5.7 MB ( at speeds varying between 5k/s and 15k/s) the download stopped, saying "Completed" ( Corrupt file, of course. )
Expected results:
Firefox should have told me that Firefox is not worthy for downloading the stellar release of Firefox that is nightly, and that you need to use classic command line tools to do such advanced tasks.
Firefox should also have told me that the file was cut short.
Firefox already _KNOWS_ that the file should be 22057150 bytes long, based on the Content-Length header it got.
Firefox lies and is stupid.
On top of that, The nightly server is horribly **** slow. I've had modems that perform better.
