773261 - HTC Desire Z's VKB is not displayed after closing HKB

Nightly Fennec 16.0a1 (2012-07-12)
Device: HTC Desire Z
OS: Android 2.3.3

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Load any page.
2. Tap on the URL bar.
3. Open HKB.
4. Pan the search engine list displayed.
5. Close the HKB.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for 2 or 3 times

Expected:
After step 5 the VKB should be displayed.

Actual:
The VKB is not displayed only the search engine list is present. Even taping on the URL bar doesn't trigger the VBK.

I cannot reproduce this on the T-Mobile G2 (a US variant of the Desire Z, which ships with stock Android instead of HTC Sense).
