User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0 Build ID: 20120628060610 Steps to reproduce: Parameters : - Restore used tab when openning firefox - Load tab contents only when they are selected 1) When I Open firefox it restore the last selected Tab. 2) I need to enter an auth (Login + Password) for this tab. (e.g: Proxy) 3) When selecting another tab and need another auth. when validating, sometimes this "other" tab is sended to a new window instead of staying in the tab. (Picture of Auth. dialog box is attached to this report) (It occurs only when the "Load tab contents only when they are selected" option is on) Actual results: When entering the second auth. of a just selected restored tab, sometimes the tab is sended to a new window. The user needs then to drag&drop the tab back to the "main" window. Expected results: When the login an the password are validated the tab only loads and are not sended and loaded in a new windows.
Summary: When Tab's are restored and then asking multiple auth it opens in new window instead of new tabs → When tab's are restored and then asking multiple auth it opens in new window instead of current tab

Hi I observer the same problem for longer time. Now after upgrade to 26.0 I can reproduce it every time I want: 1) I have opened many tabs some of the showing content which is secured by username/password (HTTP authentification required by server settings). FF is configured to show Tab content after activating the Tab 2) I restart the FF 3) I click the Tab with password secured content 4) I fill username/password int the dialog FF shows 5) after confirming the password dialog FF shows the page content. Nothing bad happens. 6) I move mouse up. When the mouse reaches my bookmark area (positioned bellow address bar and above page content window) the Tab is moved to new Window. Very annoying, really. Older versions of FF moved the Tab to a new window without any other actions (no mouse move). But it didn't occur in every case.
