Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0
Linux Build ID: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0
Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to a live streaming radio station (e.g. http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/player/bbc_1xtra) -> audio streaming plays fine
2. Install NoScript and restart
3. Go back to page in step 1
Expected result: Audio streaming should play with no issues
Actual result: Audio content does not play.
You are asked to enable Javascript (although Javascript is already enabled)
Notes:
1. On other audio streaming sites (http://www.profm.ro/radio/profm_ibiza) you are asked to install latest Flash version, even if it is installed and Flash videos (on youtube.com) work fine.
2. Issue is reproducible on.0 branch as well:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1
3. Issue is reproducible on Nightly and Aurora
4. Issue is reproducible with both Flash 11.3.300.265 and 11.400.231
Well, NoScript blocks Javascript and Flash by default on most sites (that's the whole point of it), so maybe that's why?
Your steps to reproduce WFM if I 'allow' these sites in the NoScript menu:
bbc.co.uk
bbci.co.uk
bbcimg.co.uk

So, you're saying that it is expected that flash videos play fine, but radio streaming asks to install latest version of flash...unless I 'allow' some sites in NoScript menu?
Thank you!

No. I'm saying that NoScript blocks Javascript and Flash by default, unless they're running on whitelisted (allowed) sites. So it's to be expected that most websites that use Flash will not work properly until you 'allow' them in NoScript.
Youtube.com is one of a few sites that are whitelisted by default, which would explain why Youtube videos work.
I don't think this is a Mozilla bug. From your description, it sounds as though NoScript is working as expected.
