The patches from bug 614732 did pass Try, but then I removed some snapping behavior just before check-in in response to bug 614732 comment 76 which said:
> this doesn't seem right. Snapping the two values independently could make them
> snap in different directions which would surely be wrong. I think we should
> probably try to get rid of these offset adjustments from here.
