Since I've turned on plugins.click_to_play I noticed that youtube playlists don't work since it stops at the start of each new video for a new click.

I know a lot of people listen to music in this way, and a lot of parents use this to play lists of kids videos.

I know now because Jared told me, that I can enable this for the whole site. For example clicking in the urlbar plugin icon and then selecting always activate for this site in the drop down.

But I've never noticed this icon because the content that I want to see has a big "Click here to activate this plugin.". I have no reason to go searching on other parts of the UI to see my video.

It was not obvious to me on my own though, and I fear that people will stop using Firefox because they don't know that they can put on a youtube playlist for their kids.

Personally I'd like to see an option on the flash content itself for always enable for this site. Alternately, another thing I tried was to right click to see if there was a context menu option for always enable for this site.
This will be resolved by the new click-to-play behaviour as per the UI spec.
The default "allow" action will result in the plugin staying activated until the user wasn't actively using the page for some time. Also there will be an option for longer-term activation.
Yep. Not going to track this bug.
