Details
Firefox 14 Release build has a flaming cauldron moving image at about:home. The final image should be still, not moving. about:home uses 20-50% of my cpu because of the continuous moving image. This might be a driver issue but a continuous moving image is unnecessary for about:home. The cpu usage may be lower in windows because of better drivers but a moving image is still unnecessary. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux i686; rv:14.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/14.0.1

Hi Matt. The animation has a timeout that stops the CSS animation after 5 minutes of inactivity on the about:home. If you leave about:home open and are using other tabs, CPU time will be used some up to 5 minutes. Can you verify that the animation stops and the CPU lowers after 5 minutes of not moving the mouse within the about:home window? Thanks
